So much on the river that tuk tuk usually won't drop you at the hotel,

It was on the river and close to ferry. Also had markets right outside of property.

The bed was just a bit too hard for me. If staying longer no place to put clothes.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Baan Wanglang Riverside! Literally walk out of the hotel and you are in a busy market where you have access to all the things (massages, yummy food, smoothies, coffee, boba)! The staff are amazing and sweet. Just so pleasant! Easy water ferry ride away to central Bangkok. Would absolutely stay here again!

The staff was extremely helpful and kind, I had breakfast and lunch at their restaurant and they were both really nice. The room was clean and comfy and the location is good too .

I really like the location. It offers a more authentic experience, and by simply crossing the river you are already downtown. It also allows you to avoid traffic.

The AC needs to be renovated and more attention to details. For a short stay is perfect

Access to all the temples was great. Great restaurants and my waiter helped me find the water taxi. Use Google Translate it is so helpful to communicate with the Thai people.

Location is perfect - right in the middle of Wang Lang market and is only a ferry ride away from the Grand Palace. Staff are super friendly and personable. Room service is excellent. Really nothing else to complain about.

Nothing about the hotel that I didn't like.

It was near the river and there were lots of venders outside. We like the fact that there’s always food nearby. The staff was very helpful and so friendly.

The rooms were small and very dated.

The room was spacious, right on the river with beautiful views. The receptionist Oum was so helpful. She had a great personality and we could understand her well. They had a Tuk Tuk that took us to our Taxi when we had to leave. It was a wonderful experience.

Location is amazing! Staff are great. We were in room overlooking the river and could see the palace and Wat Arun in the distance; fantastic! The hotel is kept clean and well maintained.

The only reason I don’t give a 10 for our stay is the noise from the life music singers every night. On the weekend it was past midnight at times. It felt like the ownership caters more to the visiting the restaurant crowd but didn’t care for the comfort of its hotel guests.

The location was excellent. We took the boat public transit everywhere and ate food from the market outside. The staff were extremely helpful and the roof top bar had a great view of the city

The room only had one chair but two beds.

Great room, friendly staff, overall great experience. Stayed in the villa with large patio next to the river on the ground level and especially enjoyed the live music from the restaurant while relaxing on the balcony. This was our last couple days on our vacation abroad and a great place to really relax before heading home. Thanks for keeping us comfortable and making us feel welcome. We would absolutely return.

Nothing serious as an issue but the villa tub isn't entirely private, there are seats at the restaurant next door where people could peer over and see you in the tub if they tried at all or just took a curious look. Other thing that came up was when we tried to use the tub the hot water didn't last long and by 1/3 full we only got lukewarm water so wasn't a hot bath as we had hoped. Didn't address with staff until leaving and they said they would look into it so may just have been a fluke. Still very happy with the stay

Perfect 4-night stay. Great location if you're looking for authenticity. In one of Bangkok's oldest neighborhoods, the hotel is surrounded by an eclectic market of street food, clothing stalls, massage businesses -- everything at your doorstep including the Wanglang stop for the blue flag tourist boats. Our mode of transport was boat or feet only. Our room had a panoramic vide of the Chao Phraya River without even leaving our comfortable bed! Sitting out on the deck, we felt so immersed in the life of Bangkok, with views further on the river to the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, etc. The few meals we had at the hotel were very good. Above and beyond everything else, this review is about the lovely staff at the front desk and throughout this boutique hotel. They were so gracious and helpful. We had lots of questions and they had all the answers, making our navigation of the area so easy. We highly recommend Baan Wangling Riverside. If our travels take us to Bangkok once again we would stay here without question.

Good size room. Very nice staff. good location in the market. Very firm bed.

Noise. It is so loud in the hotel, there were kids screaming every morning at 7 am, you hear everything from the hallways.The curtains allow in a ton of light and from the bathroom light comes in the morning, so you have to wear an eye mask or you will wake up with sunrise.
